Player registration for the Fall 2026 season IS CLOSED for all divisions except for Coed High School.
The Coed High School division will remain open for registration until the school year starts. To register for the Coed High School Division, use the button at the top right of our website.
DO NOT attempt to register a player that is not eligible for the High School Division, or attempt to register for another division besides Coed High School. Registration attempts will be noted, and deleted.
Volunteer registration will remain open throughout the season. Volunteers must use the Volunteer Registration button to register.
Please note: We have moved to the SportsEngine platform.
The season starts 17 August when practice begins, except for the Clinic Divisions that do not start until 12 September (weekend after Labor Day) when the regular season begins, and continues through mid-November.
Registration fees are $120/player (plus SE fee) with a $10.00 sibling discount for each additional child in the family when registered in our program at the same time. Registration is not considered complete and your child will not be placed on a team until payment is received.
Except for High School players, no Late Registrations will be accepted after July 15th so register early!. No other late registrations than High School will be accepted.
Registration is first come/first serve and based on availability. Team sizes and age grouping will depend on the number of participants. Some divisions will fill up fast. We cannot guarantee team placement if your player is placed in the waitlist.
For Kindergarten age players and older, register the player for the grade they will be in during the 2026-2027 school year. And make sure to select, and double-check your selection, of a uniform size that will fit them in the coming Fall.
Requests are only allowed in Clinic and Kindergarten Divisions (and are not guaranteed to be honored). No other player requests will be accepted.
If your child is a member of, or competes with, a travel soccer or Varsity High School team team, they are not eligible to play in the Freedom Optimist Soccer Rec Program.
Refund Policy
100% thru July 15th. No refunds after registration closes on July 15th unless the request is due to an injury which would make the player unable to participate during the season, the player evaluates onto a High School team, or possibly an extenuating family circumstance. And all refunds require approval of the league Commissioner, and may be subject to a $20.00 administrative fee. No refunds are made after the season starts (except by approval of the league Commissioner).
Trying out for a High School Team?
If you are registering your high school player and they are also trying out for their high school team please note that on their registration. Should they make the high school team your registration fee will be refunded in full.
Trying out for a Travel Team?
If your child is trying out for an travel team – Do Not Register. Refunds are not offered if a player withdraws to play with a travel team. If tryouts for travel teams are delayed, and your player does not evaluate onto a team, contact FOS for registration options.
