The season starts 17 August when practice begins, except for the Clinic Divisions that do not start until 5 September (weekend after Labor Day) when the regular season begins, and continues through mid-November.
Registration fees are $120/player (plus SE fee) with a $10.00 sibling discount for each additional child in the family when registered in our program at the same time. Registration is not considered complete and your child will not be placed on a team until payment is received.
Except for High School players, no Late Registrations will be accepted after July 15th so register early!. No other late registrations than High School will be accepted.
Registration is first come/first serve and based on availability. Team sizes and age grouping will depend on the number of participants. Some divisions will fill up fast. We cannot guarantee team placement if your player is placed in the waitlist.
For Kindergarten age players and older, register the player for the grade they will be in during the 2026-2027 school year. And make sure to select, and double-check your selection, of a uniform size that will fit them in the coming Fall.
Requests are only allowed in Clinic and Kindergarten Divisions (and are not guaranteed to be be honored). No other player requests will be accepted.
If your child is a member of, or competes with, a travel soccer or Varsity High School team team, they are not eligible to play in the Freedom Optimist Soccer Rec Program.
