Soccer BallIt’s been a great start to the Spring season!

With the possibility of inclement weather this Sunday, make sure to check the Freedom Area Rec Council Facebook page for field closure information. On weekends decisions will be made around 7am.

If the weather turns and fields are closed while games are ongoing, we will post a notice on the Freedom Optimist Soccer Facebook page first, and then attempt to send messages via TeamSnap to all players.

Make sure to follow our Facebook page for updates, special dates and additional information.

We are pleased to announce another year of our Freedom Optimist Soccer scholarship program, for our 2026 graduating seniors. This annual program offers up to ten scholarships of various amounts for qualifying graduating HS seniors.

Applications are due by May 1, 2026.
